We believe some of New Zealand’s most inspiring homes are built by NZCB members. These buildings however, don’t always get celebrated the way we think they should and the general public deserves to know the exceptional calibre of our members.

In 2015 New Zealand Certified Builders Association proposed a concept to release a coffee table style publication called “Revere” designed to showcase the outstanding work of their members.

To date the release of this publication has not occurred however with the rebrand of NZCB well established it is now time to further expand and showcase the wonderful builds our members have completed.  In turn providing an opportunity to leverage this exposure to generate and increase sales leads and further brand awareness.

Revere means “to regard with respect, tinge with awe and give a feeling of deep admiration” in turn giving value to NZCB and its members.  We will aim to have Revere available to all NZCB members providing them with a useful sales tool and also see it making its way into architect’s offices, waiting rooms, libraries and coffee tables throughout the country.

The intention is for this publication to be launched annually however, this will be dependent on the level of interest shown by our members.  Ideally, we would like to feature builds completed in the last two years and the Association anticipates starting work on this magazine mid-2017 with publication in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Such a publication is a large financial undertaking and the Association will potentially require some financial support from those members submitting successful material (potentially at a cost of $1,000+gst for two pages and $2,000 +gst for four pages) and from a limited number of merchants/ regional partners that may also contribute to the magazine.

Up to twelve builds will be featured using beautifully photographed homes over two to four pages which will be accompanied by a short editorial highlighting the key components that make the project stand out. Homes need to have qualities that make them standout. Such as; technical aspects of the build, attention to detail, problem solving and realising the vision of the homeowner. They can also include architectural design, location and materials.

Should you wish to participate please request an application form here. Your application will then be reviewed by design experts, potentially from outside of NZCB who will make a decision on those entries submitted that will go to press.
